SH: Magdera Revolters

Holy crap...I finally did it! I've finally drawn Ensayne and her entire squadron!!!! I never thought I'd get it done but, here it is, the final product.

This has been in the making since 2008 - though I tell you, the original drawing I tried to draw was very crabby, and earlier this year I started this newer and more refined version.

Well now, one thing I'd like to note here as that this group picture of the squadron is around about the time that Ensayne first declares their squadron (not meaning as an official squadron - they never became official - but when they first grouped as one), and back then Ensayne didn't have the uniform she does in my other pictures (which I know it's changed a couple of times but I settled on it in my "High up above" fanart). The clothes she's wearing in this picture is pretty much what I decided them to be what she used to wear, and that was from the old drawing I made too. So if you were going to ask about that, there's your answer

Anyway, I better start some introductions for the characters, so here goes:
(left to right)

Lenny
Age: 15
Position: carrier pilot
Weapon: Lenny doesn't wield a weapon. But he does have a tendancy to make random panicky yells during chaotic situations.
He's somewhat like the Stork of the squadron, being the carrier pilot and very jumpy/slightly paranoid. However, Lenny's not good at flying a ship...at all, and because he gets scared so easily, this makes him a bit dangerous at the wheel, but no one else from the squadron knew how to fly at all - he was the only one with at least some knowledge of what was what and...how to get it to, hmm, turn on?
Him and Ensayne were friends before the squadron was made, and they continue being good friends throughout that time, but something happens, and obviously I won't tell you what, but it's never the same again.

Jason
Age: 18
Position: flight engineer
Weapon: a couple of big spanners - or his fists.
A nice guy who loves his little sister Jessica (girl with the red hair), and knows a LOT about mechanics, having been taught by his father. He then in turn taught his sister and the two of them work together as a team. Which the squadron wouldn't have a ship if they hadn't fixed it. And another thing to know about Jason, is that he's a bloody good fighter.

Jessica
Age: 9
Position: assistant flight engineer
Weapon: rocks, metal things, plates, planks of wood, anything that can be thrown and would cause enough damage.
One look at her and you can see she's full of attitude. She also doesn't really like people, preferring to play by herself with her little dolls, or hang out with her brother (kids don't bother trying to befriend her because of her hot-headedness). Jessica and her brother will make, fix and even purposefully break skimmers and the like (if there have been hooligan kids about who deserve a broken bike). The only exception to Jessica liking people are her family and the other members of the squadron.

Ensayne
Age: 15
Position: Leader and Skyknight
Weapon: a retractable staff with a green striker crystal
A nice-natured girl, Ensayne decided to create the squadron because their terra started being attacked by Cyclonians, and even though the adults, including her mother, did deal with the attacks fairly well, the turning point was when a kid was hit...and never woke up.
From then, Ensayne learnt the seriousness of the attacks, of what was out there, and that something had to be done. She wanted to be the one to do something, but knew she'd need others to help her.
For those who haven't seen some of my other fanarts and read the details, Ensayne also has an older brother, Damien, which they were once very close but because Ensayne was better than him at some things (considering he's a few years older this was quite the insult to him), and because she actually created a squadron (when he always dreamt of having his own), they grew apart very quickly and then he left the terra, only to become the leader of the Total Losers, and totally turned against her.

Lin
Age: 17
Position: Navigation, tactics and heavy ballistics
Weapon: the ship's energy cannons
You could say that Lin puts sugar to shame with just how sweet she is - perhaps she may be somewhat naive and a little too innocent-minded, but she holds a very unusual but useful quality, the sort that you just wouldn't expect from first glance, and that's her strength - she operates enormous blasters on the ship which, for one, these big things were made a LONG time ago and so they are not light-weight like newer ones might be. Also, the maneouverability for directing them requires a lot of upper body strength. Jason has offered to be the one to operate them, but Lin felt insulted and it made her more determined to take the position.
Other than her crazy strength (which I should mention it runs in the family), Lin enjoys playing with animals of all sorts and wandering about the terra for things to discover.

Melody
Age: 20
Position: crystal specialist, medics and assistant in tactics
Weapon: crystal powered pump-action shotgun
Melody holds a lot of maturity, but she's not without a fun side, and in most cases she's having jokes with everyone and suggesting board games for the group to play when they're not on duty for attacks. Also, every Saturday they take a trip down to the cave that Ensayne discovered the run-down ship (that's now operational because of Jason and Jessica) spending the night camping there, with Melody telling scary stories.
Because Melody had plenty of knowledge about crystals by reading her father's books, she became the group's crystal specialist - not only that, but she provided them with their crystals by going to Old Man Charlie's house and raiding it during the night. Which, in fact, Old Man Charlie is the reason they have a ship and weapons (including Ensayne's staff) - but more about him and the details of that another time
