:SH: Wasteland Crystal

Wow! Its been ages since I've -posted- anything Storm Hawks related (I am currently working on other SH stuff including ideas for the fic), so here we go!

This was put together for my friend Thea from an idea she developed for the fic for her people I really wanted to take a shot at drawing this crystal, and after many crappy attempts, the best result came today when I wasn't even trying (typical).

Also the first time I've drawn something during the day since...I don't know even know when!

I wasn't sure what would be the best way to present the crystal so I based the layout for it from the crystals section on the Storm Hawks website (didn't worry about font style for the top part, but took me a while to figure out the right font for the description, ended up being Verdana, which was what I originally thought it was lol), and sewed the background for the crystal together from those on the website.

The description is from notes I wrote down from what Thea dictated to me. Love your ideas bub!

At a later point I will most likely draw up a reference sheet for her people, because reference sheets are awesome ^^
